VC Volleyball Falls at Moorpark
In a spirited cross-county match-up the Ventura College volleyball team dropped a 3-set match to the Moorpark Raiders Wednesday night at Raider Pavilion. The Pirates fell by scores of 15-25, 16-25, and 21-25. Despite dropping the first two sets, VC led 18-11 in the third before a string of mistakes prevented them from climbing back into the match. Jasmine Perez led VC with 13 digs and Dana Cleavenger handed out 26 assists.

VOLLEYBALL: In a spirited cross-county match-up the Ventura College volleyball team dropped a 3-set match to the Moorpark Raiders Wednesday night at Raider Pavilion. The Pirates fell by scores of 15-25, 16-25, and 21-25. Despite dropping the first two sets, VC led 18-11 in the third before a string of mistakes prevented them from climbing back into the match. Jasmine Perez led VC with 13 digs and Dana Cleavenger handed out 26 assists.
The Pirates close out the 2013 season at home on Friday Nov. 15 by hosting Santa Barbara. The match is slated to begin at 7:00 pm at the Athletic Event Center.
