Volleyball Defeated at SBCC
The Pirate volleyball team salvaged a set in their 3-1 loss at No. 12 Santa Barbara City College Wednesday night. VC dropped the first set 25-13 before rebounding to take the second 25-23. The Vaqueros took the final two sets, 25-11 and 25-10. Kirra Drury led Ventura with 11 kills and Sarah Veloz had 18 digs. Dana Cleavenger handed out 25 assists in the match.

The Pirates play at West Los Angeles College in a non-conference match on Friday Oct. 25 at 6:00 pm before returning home Wednesday Oct. 30 against Los Angeles Mission College at 7:00 pm..
