Spikers Drop Season Opener
The Ventura College volleyball team opened up the 2013 season on the short end of a 25-12, 25-5, 25-13 decision Friday at Irvine Valley College. VC struggled in their first match under new head coach Brad Lyans, but the preseason No. 18-ranked Lasers had much to do with that. Kirra Drury led VC with seven kills.
