Luton Named SCFA Player of the Week For Fourth Time

Pirate quarterback Jake Luton has done it again. For the fourth time this season, he has earned the Southern California Football Association Offensive Player of the Week award, this week for his efforts in the 49th Citrus Cup game against Moorpark College. Luton had 459 yards of total offense with four scores in the Pirates' 42-28 victory over the Raiders.

Pirate quarterback Jake Luton has done it again.  For the fourth time this season, he has earned the Southern California Football Association Offensive Player of the Week award, this week for his efforts in the 49th Citrus Cup game against Moorpark College.  Luton had 459 yards of total offense with four scores in the Pirates' 42-28 victory over the Raiders.  He completed 27 of 48 passes for 394 yards in the air with three touchdown passes.  Additionally he ran the ball 10 times for 65 yards and another score.  Luton is a sophomore from Marysville, Wash. and has committed to attend Oregon State next year.
