14 Pirates Ink on National Signing Day, Transfers Up to 23 from 2014

Ventura College football and head coach Steve Mooshagian is proud to announce 14 Pirates from 2014 inked scholarships or committed to play at the four-year level on National Signing Day on Wednesday. Combined with nine mid-year transfers, 23 Pirates from the 2014 team will be moving on to four-year schools. Three are transferring to NCAA Division I, 13 to NCAA Division II, two to NAIA Division I, four to NAIA Division II, and one to NCAA Division III.  These 23 helped the Pirates to two straight bowl games and to the 2014 Northern Conference championship.

Coach Mooshagian also expects more signings in the near future as more Pirates narrow down their future choices.

In the past five years, the Pirates under Coach Mooshagian have matriculated 101 student athletes to the four-year level.
