Sirino Named SCFA Defensive Player of the Week
Ventura College defensive back Mike Cirino has been named the Southern California Football Association Northern Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in VC's 33-30 win at El Camino Saturday.

Ventura College defensive back Mike Cirino has been named the Southern California Football Association Northern Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in VC's 33-30 win at El Camino Saturday. The sophomore had eight tackles, forced a fumble, came up with an interception, and ran back a blocked field goal 70 yards for a touchdown, giving VC a 27-14 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Cirino is a sophomore from Kissimmee, Fla. He prepped at Poinciana High School.
