VC Women Drops WSC Game at Cuesta
The Ventura College women's water polo team dropped a Western State Conference game at Cuesta Wedneday afternoon, 17-8. Parker Pratt, Abigal Humphry and Julia Glukhovsky all scored two goals for Ventura with Ami Cruz and Audrey Hernandez each netting one score. Glukhovsky added five ejections drawn and Pratt recorded a pair of ED's. Bella Bruno had 11 saves and a pair of steals in the cage.

The Ventura College women's water polo team dropped a Western State Conference game at Cuesta Wednesday afternoon, 17-8. Parker Pratt, Abigail Humphry and Julia Glukhovsky all scored two goals for Ventura with Ami Cruz and Audrey Hernandez each netting one score. Glukhovsky added five ejections drawn and Pratt recorded a pair of ED's. Bella Bruno had 11 saves and a pair of steals in the cage.
Pratt got the Pirates on the board in the second quarter, and Hernandez also found the inside of the cage before intermission.
VC rebounded from a difficult first half to play the Cougars even in the second with Glukhovsky and Humphry each tallying two goals after halftime.
Ventura next travels to Los Angeles Valley on Wednesday Oct. 22.
