Wallace, a Rio Mesa High School product, ledthe WSC in steals, was fourth in assists and fifth in exclusions drawn. Hall, who hails from Royal high School, was third in the conference in saves.

The Pirates' women's water polo team split a pair of Western State Conference matches Friday at the Ventura Aquatic Center to finish the regular season. VC fell to Cuesta 8-4 in the first contest of the day before defeating LA Pierce 14-4 in the nightcap under the lights. Katia Flores had an outstanding day with three goals, three assists, two drawn exclusions and eight steals in the two games for the Pirates (13-14, 2-4).
