Pirate soccer Climbs to No. 3 in National Poll
On the strength of their best start in years, the Ventura College women's soccer team has climbed to the No. 3 ranking in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America JC/CC Division III poll.

On the strength of their best start in years, the Ventura College women's soccer team has climbed to the No. 3 ranking in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America JC/CC Division III poll. The ranking is the highest in the history of the program, which routinely finishes the season in the NSCAA top-20 rankings.
Ventura (4-0-0) will put that new found respect to the test immediately, as VC hosts No. 7 Santiago Canyon (2-0-1) this evening at the VC Sportsplex. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 pm.
