VC Soccer Faces New Challenge

WOMEN'S SOCCER: From the Ventura County Star: Cross-county rival Moorpark College has twice stopped its near two-decade Western State Conference reign. Santa Barbara City has, on occasion, joined it in the national poll. And now the Ventura College women's soccer team faces a new challenger in the WSC North this season with the arrival of Los Angeles Pierce. While 15-time champion VC is the only team with a WSC winning percentage in the .900s, the Brahmas, who won eight WSC South titles over the past 12 seasons, are the only other program with a mark in the .800s.
