Bio

Steve Reardon enters his 10th season with VC's swim teams in 2026. He began as an assistant coach and served as the Pirates' co-head coach in 2020-2022. Since 2023 he had returned to his assistant coach role.

In 2017 he helped coach Mary Giles lead the Pirate men to the program's fourth straight Western State Conference title, its 17th overall. He also assisted the VC women to a runner-up finish in the conference that year.  In 2019 and 2024 Reardon helped direct the VC men to two more WSC runner-up finishes.

Reardon joined the staff with 35 years of swim coaching experience in Southern California at the high school and club levels. He is a member of USA swimming and has reached level IV achievements. He has developed and trained countless CIF champions and many of his swimmers have become community college All-Americans at Ventura College and enjoyed successful careers at the four-year level.
