Monroe, Badaracco and Marshall Earn Individual All-American Honors
VC swimming standouts Jaiden Monroe, Olivia Badaracco and Faith Marshall all earned individual 3C2A All-American accolades as published by the California Community College Swim & Dive Coaches Association. Monroe was named All-American in six individual events and as part of three relays while Badaracco earned All-American honors in five individual events and with four relays. Marshall is a two-event All-American individualy and in four relays.

Monroe was named All-American in six individual events and as part of three relays while Badaracco earned All-American honors in five individual events and with four relays. The CCCS&DCA All-American awards represent the 16 fastest times in the 3C2A from competition throughout the season in each event.
Monroe claimed individual All-American honors in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle events, the 100- and 200-yard backstroke races and in the 100-yard butterfly. He was the state champion in the 100-yard backstroke and silver medalist in the 100-yard butterfly at the 3C2A State Championships earlier this month.
Badaracco, meanwhile, was named All-American in five individual events including the 50- and 100-yard freestyle along with the 50-, 100- and 200-yard backstroke events. She earned runner-up finishes in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke races at the state finals.
Marshall was named All-American in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events.
The men's 200-yard freestyle relay quartet of Michael Ramirez, Jacob Otsuki, Thomas Shea and Monroe, the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Shea, Shane Speth, Otsuki and Monroe, and the 800-yard freestyle relay group of Monroe, Parker Steen, Brayden Black and Otsuki all were named All-Americans by the state coaches association.
Meanwhile, the women's team of Cassandra Wallop, Avery Monson, Marshall and Badaracco earned All-American honors in the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays while Badaracco, Marshall, Olivia Decierdo and Monson were named All-American in the 200- and 400-yard medley relays.
