Men's water polo sophomore Alexis Nava has been named first team All-Western State Conference for the 2022 season as voted by the conference coaches last month. Nava, a Pacifica High School alumnus, led VC in goals scored, steals and ejections drawn during this past season. Sebastion Cornejo and Joseph Lowrey were named second team All-WSC while George Bonilla and Carlos Gonzalez earned Honorable Mention nods.
The VC men's water polo team had its 2022 season come to an end in the first round of the Western State Conference Tournament at Citrus on Wednesday. Alexis Nava continued his solid play with a six-goal performance while Sebastian Cornejo scored a goal with two assists and two steals.
