The VC men's water polo team competed at the Cuesta 2 Tournament Saturday in San Luis Obispo. Sophomore Alexis Nava led the effort with eight goals and three steals in the Pirates' games against Las Positas and Ohlone colleges. George Bonilla recorded three goals and three steals on the day.

The Pirates fell to Merced in the first game 14-7 before dropping a 12-7 final against Modesto. Alexis Nava once again led the Pirate offense with seven goals on the day and Matthew Ogonowski netted three scores. George Bonilla found the inside of the cage twice with two steals in the morning contest.
