MPolo Earns More Honors
The best Ventura College men's water polo season in five years has gotten better with the announcement of the All-American/All-Southern California honors recently. Sophomores Tim Allen and Joe Yamamoto, the foundation of the Pirate attack for the past two seasons, were both honored by Southern California coaches. Allen earned first-team All-SoCal recognition, and was also named All-American while Yamamoto was named second-team All-SoCal.

Allen earned first-team All-SoCal recognition, and was also named All-American while Yamamoto was named second-team All-SoCal.
The Pirates finished the season with a 15-15 record, 3-1 in the WSC, and finished second in the WSC Tournament at the end of the season. They posted an 11-5 record after October 12, losing but three matches in regulation time over that period.
