VC Falls at NCAA Division II Biola

For the second straight day and the third straight match, the Pirates' men's tennis team battled a 4-year school, falling at NCAA Division II Biola University in La Mirada, 7-2. The No. 2 doubles team of Yoya Koide and Ryan Lam earned a point with a 6-4 victory and Lam won his No. 4 singles match 6-2, ret.

Bledar Gashi and Ethan Wang battled to a 6-4 defeat in No. 3 doubles while Koide lost in No. 1 singles in a tiebreaking set, 6-3, 4-6, 10-6. Brodie Sodersten fell in No. 2 singles to VC alumnus Antonio Rosales 6-4, 6-1.

Ventura travels to NCAA Division III Cal Lutheran on Wednesday April 21.
