Men's Tennis Qualifies for SoCal Regionals

The Ventura College men's tennis team will continue its season in the Southern California Regional Playoffs. The Pirates (12-4) received the No. 7-seed in the draw and will travel to No. 2 Irvine Valley (11-1) on Tuesday April 9 for a quarterfinal match-up. The Pirates finished second in the Western State Conference with a 6-2 conference mark while the Lasers breezed through the Orange Empire Conference with a perfect 8-0 mark.

The winner of Tuesday's match will advance to the SoCal semifinals on Tuesday April 19 against No. 3 College o fthe Desert or No. 6 Riverside City College.
