Pirates Shoot Low Score of the Year at Brookside

The Pirate golf team had their best outing of the season Monday, posting a team score of 374 in the Western State Conference No. 5 event at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. VC placed third in the tightly contested match in which the top five teams were separated by 12 strokes. Logan Gonzalez led Ventura with a 1-over par 71 to tie for third overall while Daniel Darwin tied for 11th with a 74.
