VC Golf Third at Victor Valley WSC Event
In the high desert of Victorville, the Ventura College golf team found ideal conditions once again, turning in their best performance of the season with a team score of 382 in the Western State Conference No 7 hosted by Victor Valley College. Five Pirates shot in the 70's, led by Michael Ray's 2-over 74 on the par-72 Spring Valley Lake Country Club course. Canyons won the event with a team score fo 361 followed by runner-up Santa Barbara with a 370.

Jake Yasutake turned in a 4-over 76 while Nick Burns and Kaden Santos both turned in 5-over 77's on Monday. Mason Teron was the sixth Pirate in the 70's with a 6-over 78. Noah Hollander carded an 87 to complete VC's team scores.
The Pirates next will travel to the Southern California Preview, a non-conference event on the north course at Los Serranos Golf Club in Chino Hills on Monday April 8.
