Golf Finished Sixth at WSC-Glendale at Oakmont Country Club

The Pirate golf team turned in a team score of 408 Monday to take sixth place at the Western State Conference event hosted by Glendale College at Oakmont Country Club. First place Canyons won the event with a 381 followed by Glendale with 384. Matthew Thomas was the low man for VC, posting a 5-over 77.

The Pirate golf team turned in a team score of 408 Monday to take sixth place at the Western State Conference event hosted by Glendale College at Oakmont Country Club.  First place Canyons won the event with a 381 followed by Glendale with 384.  Matthew Thomas was the low man for VC, posting a 5-over 77.

Patrick Holden shot and 81 for VC while Emil Ozeke turned in an 82.  Remy Smaby followed at 83 and Alex Hood shot 85.  Greg Brown carded an 86 to round out the VC scores.

Ventura will host the WSC-Neutral event at Olivas Links Golf Course on Monday April 20 before headed to the 36-hole conference finals on April 27.
