VC Third at WSC Event at River Ridge

Emil Ozeke fired a 1-under par 71 Monday on the Victoria Lakes course at River Ridge Golf Course to lead Ventura to a third place finish in this week's Western State Conference event hosted by the Pirates. VC posted a team score of 375, just six strokes off of Santa Barbara's 369 and five behind Canyons at 370.

Emil Ozeke fired a 1-under par 71 Monday on the Victoria Lakes course at River Ridge Golf Course to lead Ventura to a third place finish in this week's Western State Conference event hosted by the Pirates.  VC posted a season-best team score of 375, just six strokes off of Santa Barbara's 369 and five behind Canyons at 370.

Matthew Thomas was the second-low man for Ventura, carding a 75, followed by Remy Smaby and Patrick Holden at 76.  Alex Hood shot a 77 and Brian Wipf turned in an 88.

Ventura will host the Southern California Preview on Monday March 16 at the Olivas Links Golf Course.  Tee times begin at 10:00 am.
