Midnight Madness Back at Ventura College
Basketball is back at Ventura College! The Pirates' men's basketball team will tip-off the 2017-18 season with its annual Midnight Madness event Saturday Sept. 30 (Sunday Oct. 1, officially) at the Athletic Event Center. The evening will begin at 10:00 pm and will include high school scrimmages and 3-point shooting and dunk contests, in addition to an intrasquad scrimmage featuring the Pirates under seventh-year head coach Joey Ramirez.

Basketball is back at Ventura College!
The Pirates' men's basketball team will tip-off the 2017-18 season with its annual Midnight Madness event Saturday Sept. 30 (Sunday Oct. 1, officially) at the Athletic Event Center. The evening will begin at 10:00 pm and will include high school scrimmages and 3-point shooting and dunk contests, in addition to an intrasquad scrimmage featuring the Pirates under seventh-year head coach Joey Ramirez.
A high school scrimmages will begin the evening at 10:00 pm, featuring Ventura vs. Oxnard. The Pirates will follow at 10:30pm, then Buena vs. Rio Mesa at 11:15. The evening will conclude with 3-point shooting and dunk contests featuring high school players and members of the 2017-18 Ventura College team.
Admission for the evening's events is $5 for all fans.
VC will open the regular season with the We Play Hard Tip-Off Tournament November 2-4 at the Athletic Event Center.
