Men's Basketball On The Road for CCCAA Regionals
The Ventura College men's basketball team will be headed on the road for the 2017 CCCAA SoCal Regional Playoffs. The Pirates (17-12) have earned the No. 18 seed in the draw and will head to No. 15 Irvine Valley (14-13) for a first-round contest on Wednesday Feb. 22. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm, and the game can be seen live on the VC Sports Network.

The Pirates, champions of the Western State Conference North Division for the second straight season, are on the road for the third time in their past four playoff appearances. They will battle the Lasers, who finished in fourth place in the Orange Empire Conference, for a chance to play No. 2 El Camino-Compton on Saturday Feb. 25.
This will be the second meeting of the season for VC and IVC. Ventura dropped the first meeting between the teams on November 17 in the opening round of the IVC Classic in Irvine.
