VC Polo Headed to Playoffs
The Pirates' men's and women's water polo team have both received at-large bids for the Southern California Regional Playoffs beginning Thursday Nov. 14 at Cerritos College. The VC men (14-14), runner-up finishers in the Western State Conference Tournament over the weekend, have received the No. 9 seed and will play No. 8 Mt. San Antonio College (18-10) at 1:15 pm. Meanwhile the Pirate women (18-9) received the No. 10 seed and will take on No. 7 Orange Coast (11-10) at 2:30 pm.

VC's men's team played the Mounties earlier this year on Nov. 1 at the Ventura MIni. The Pirates lost that match 13-11 in overtime. In the women's match, the Pirates are guaranteed a victory. The Ventura Pirates have not faced the Orange Coast Pirates this season.
