Big First Inning Propels VC

Ventura College baseball took advantage of a four-run first inning and picked up another road victory on Tuesday at No. 9 Allan Hancock College, 7-3. The Pirates did not have many hit with four, but they made them count along with four walks and three hit batters. VC (8-14, 4-6) was able to put up seven runs, four in the first and three in the sixth for the victory. Tyler Watson had a hit with two RBI and he scored another run while Harrison Crawford added a two-RBI double and also scored. Shawn Domke picked up the win on the mound with 6.2 solid innings.
