Fanslow and Mckeown Finish Season at SoCal Regionals

VC beach volleyball pair Taylor Benitez-Fanslow and Shea Mckeown finished the 2018 season just points away from qualifying for the CCCAA State Beach Volleyball Pairs Tournament in regional play in Irvine Friday. The duo won one match and lost two, the final one in three sets by just four points, bringing to a close the Pirates' 2018 beach volleyball season.

VC beach volleyball pair Taylor Benitez-Fanslow and Shea Mckeown finished the 2018 season just points away from qualifying for the CCCAA State Beach Volleyball Pairs Tournament in regional play in Irvine Friday. The duo won one match and lost two, the final one in three sets by just four points, bringing to a close the Pirates' 2018 beach volleyball season.

Fanslow and Mckeown began the day against the team of Macdonald and Salazar from Mira Costa College, falling 21-18, 21-10. In the consolation bracket, the VC team defeated Wilder and Owens from Cypress College 21-19, 19-21, 15-13 before bowing out of the state qualifying match to Umi and Diaz from Long Beach, 20-22, 21-18, 15-11.
