Dulce Contreras, Women's Tennis - Week of Feb. 9-15

The women's tennis team if off to a great start in 2026 with a 4-1 record with a 3-1 mark in Western State Conference play. Sophomore Dulce Contreras has been a standout for the Pirates with a 3-1 record in singles and 3-2 mark in doubles.  This past week the Hueneme High School product won both singles matches in the No. 3 slot against Bakersfield and Antelope Valley while winning a pair of matches in No. 2 doubles with Isabella DeRosa. For her outstanding effort, Dulce is this week's VC Pirate Student Athlete of the Week sponsored by M & M Sports.
