Benitez-Fanslow and Jessie Earn All-WSC Honors in Volleyball

VC sophomores Taylor Benitez-Fanslow and Braxton Jessie led four Pirates on the All-Western State Conference North Division team as voted on by conference coaches month.  Benitez-Fanslow earned first team accolades while Jessie was named second team All-WSC for the 2017 season.

Benitez-Fanslow led the Pirates in kills for the season with 224 in 19 matches. She had the leading hitting percentage on the squad at .198 and was second in digs with 240 and second in digs per set average at 3.64.  Jessie, meanwhile, was second on the team in hitting with 136 kills in 18 matches. She was also third on the team in digs with 214, but led the Pirates in digs per set with 4.12. 

Sophomore opposite hitter Bryanna Lovingood and freshman setter Danielle Garcia were named honorable mention all-conference.
